Here you will find answers to the most common questions about our services and care.
Yes — we work with all statutory and private health insurers. For medically prescribed aids, your health insurer usually covers the majority of the costs. We take care of the application and all the paperwork for you.
Please bring your health insurance card and, if available, a doctor's prescription. For follow-up care, previous fitting documents are helpful. We will discuss everything else together at your appointment.
This depends on the type of care needed. Compression stockings can often be handed over on the same day. Custom-made insoles, orthoses or prostheses require a bit more time depending on the complexity and insurance approval — we will inform you individually.
Yes — for patients who are unable to come to our practice, we offer home visits throughout the Bremen city area and surroundings. Please mention this when booking your appointment.
Statutorily insured patients usually pay a 10% co-payment, with a minimum of €5 and a maximum of €10 per aid. Children under 18 are exempt from co-payments. Feel free to ask us — we will advise you individually about your co-payment.
Yes — you don't need a prescription for a consultation. However, we do need a doctor's prescription for insurance-funded care. We are happy to advise you on which option is right for you.
Yes — we repair orthoses, prostheses and aids regardless of where they were originally purchased. We complete many repairs on the same day.
